Os sere muy, pero que muy sincero al escribir este blog. Considero que cualquiera que lee mis blogs me conoce y sabe que le considero mi amigo y en caso de no conocerme personalmente pero haberte topado con mi pagina en instagram o Facebook, Keep the World Polite, te habrás dado cuenta de que soy una persona sensible y emocional que se interesa por los demás y quiere lo mejor, no solo para mi mismo y mi familia sino también para todo el mundo. Sabes que aunque no sea perfecto, soy un hombre de valores y esos valores los ejerzo y los propago por el bien y la felicidad general.
Eso mismo me lleva muchas veces a hacer cosas que se salen de lo normal o común y que parezca redundante o pesado. Un ejemplo de lo que te hablo es mi hashtag #withmindandwithheart o el que tiene que ver con una obra social solidaria #helpmehelpyoucopeandgetby donde insto a mis seguidores, que yo creo que son un grupo limitado y selecto de personas muy especiales y con discernimiento que entienden que para ver un cambio en este mundo hay que ser ese cambio nosotros mismos primero, a usar mas la mente y actuar con corazón y no de forma despiadada o ignorante como hace la gran mayoría para crecer como personas y ayudar a los demás por medio de darles y cuidarles hasta que puedan hacerlo ellos para si mismos y para con otros. Otro ejemplo es que los fines de semana, viendo que he vivido un día mas y he logrado sobrevivir esta horrible pandemia del COVID-19, por lo cual doy gracias a Dios aunque respeto que tu no lo hagas, siempre y cuando des gracias por tu vida por medio de valorarla y vivirla a plenitud, y mando un mensaje a cada uno de mis amigos, conocidos, contactos y allegados para desearles un buen día y que tanto ellos como sus amigos y familiares están bien. Admitire que no es fácil mantener siempre el contacto con todas las personas que conozco pero también es cierto que el enviar un mensaje a todos los que conozco cuando estamos todos en modo de supervivencia supone un esfuerzo y un gasto. Por que lo hago? Porque nunca sabes quien este padeciendo esto o cualquier otro sufrimiento de cualquier tipo y necesite un mensaje de animo, encomio y amistad. Quiero hacerme disponible para esa persona y que sepa que aunque mucha gente que conoce no le escribe o llama, al menos le importa a una persona. Considero que el ser humano es egoísta por naturaleza y mas en estos tiempos, así que, que al menos una persona se preocupe por ti es un triunfo. Si encima te abres a esa persona que se interesa por ti, no te quiero ni contar. De hecho, te animo a que este fin de semana escribas un mensaje de animo a todos los que conoces.
No en cambio, a la inversa, por norma general, solo recibo mensajes de "como estas?" y "espero que estes bien" después de que yo haya enviado mi mensaje masivo de fin de semana. No en cambio, agradezco que al menos en ese momento haya recibido ese mensaje de ti. Por que? Me creerías si te digo que al 90% de las personas que envío ese mensaje no les da curiosidad del porque o el como estoy y no me contestan? Bueno, entiendo que cada uno tiene su vida, sus preocupaciones y sus prioridades. Entiendo que no debo esperar que me respondan. Suficiente es que sepan que a mi si me importan e interesan. Pero te imaginas conocer a cientos de personas y te tomes el tiempo de escribirles y desearles el bien y esos cientos de personas se tomen ese momento breve y te responden al menos para desearte que tu también tengas esa felicidad y salud? Que refrescante, no? Te imaginas que tu estas padeciendo algo, llámese COVID-19 o depresión y alguien se toma el tiempo de mandarte un mensaje de animo? Ese mensaje bien puede ser y marcar la diferencia entre luchar por tu vida o darte por vencido. Ahi lo dejo para que tu como lector sepas como respondes a ese tipo de mensaje y si no lo haces, que sepas lo que te estas perdiendo. Puede parecer monótono, rutinario, pesado y cansino. De hecho, al ser un copia y pega, puede incluso parecerte poco sincero. Pero si me conoces, sabes que soy humano y que como humano te lo envío y como humano, con mis fallos, mis problemas, mis complicaciones, también lo necesito de ti.
Esto ultimo te lo digo porque ha muchas personas que confunden el ser cortés y educado con ser hipócrita y nunca decir la verdad sin antes forzar una sonrisa, ir por la vida de correcto y perfecto y buscar y dejarse pisotear porque quieren ser correctos. Nada que ver. Una persona cortés y educada, entre otras cosas, siempre te tira la verdad. Dicho esto, otra forma de mostrar mi interés por el mundo es hacer un ejercicio de lógica y razonamiento. En que consiste ese ejercicio? Bueno, en darme cuenta de que mi causa, mi lucha, mi esfuerzo y mi deseo no es para todo el mundo. No me malinterpretes, por favor. Le deseo el bien a todos pero no todos creen en mantener este mundo mas cortés, no les preocupa mucho el que sea así, no todos creen en ello y no todo el mundo centra su esfuerzos y tiempo en ello. Aunque hay muchos movimientos en las redes sociales de ser mejores personas y ser mas compasivas o buenos como @thinkkindness o @randomactsofkindness o @kindness.org, hay quien prefiere seguir a artistas de música o cine o equipos de deporte o sus tiendas favoritas. Y esta bien. Lo entiendo perfectamente. Todos buscamos una especie de escapatoria o evasion de la rutina o realidad y buscamos conectar con aquello o aquellos que nos aportaran una pequeña sensación de alegría por breve que sea.
De nuevo, esto no es para todos y quienes si estáis aquí y os interesáis por seguirme en @keeptheworldpolite, considero que sois especiales y merecéis lo mejor. Lo digo de corazón. Al fin y al cabo, algún beneficio ha de tener dar y saber tanto, prestar atención a nosotros mismos y los demás, cuidar de nosotros mismos y de los demás y, no menos importante, cuidar de no hacernos daño ni hacérselo a los demás, ni hacer no crees?

Ser cortés, entre otras cosas, significa cumplir con las promesas que haces. De ahi que se diga que lo prometido es deuda. Y, sin posponer mas lo prometido, te hare conocedor de un mercado que mueve los mercados del cual tu y cualquiera se puede beneficiar. Déjame que te lo explique de esta manera. Sabes cuando hay sin restaurante nuevo en la ciudad del cual se habla mucho pero no sabes realmente como es y cuando resulta que vas, te encanta tanto que se lo quieres contar a todos tus amigos para que degusten lo que tu pudiste. Recomiendas el tar-tar de no sé que y el mus de no se cuánto por todo lo alto con la convicción de que tus amigos estaban igual de encantados. Ahora, piensa, cuantas veces el restaurante, la tienda o el gimnasio te ha pagado para que tu vayas a contárselo a todos tus conocidos mas allá de darte un 5 o un 10% de descuenta con una tarjeta, digital o plástica, de fidelización? Estarias mas dispuesto o dispuesta a contárselo a tus amigos si cada negocio te diese un porcentaje de lo que cada uno de tus amigos compra? Bueno, hay quienes son muy conocedores de los programas de afiliados. En cambio, hay quien solo compra. Bueno, por qué no beneficiarte de qué eres cliente y sabes la calidad del producto de este u otro negocio? Sabes que hay miles y miles de empresas que están dispuestas a darte dinero porque tu recomiendes sus productos? Osea, quieren que seas influencer porque hasta los influencers mas guay con miles de millones de seguidores reciben compensación por ese labial que te están presentando. I'll be totally, brutally honest with you in writing this blog. I think that anyone who reads and follows my blogs knows me one way or another and you know I already consider you my friend but, in case you don't personally know me and have run into my page, KEEP THE WORLD POLITE on Facebook or Instagram, you may have realised by now that I am a very emotional and caring person who takes an interest in others and wants the best, not only for himself but also for his family, friends and, if possible, the entire world.
This one fact one itself sometimes leads me to do things which others don't normally and/or seem a bit redundant or obnoxious. An example of what I'm talking about is my hashtag #withmindandwithheart or my other hashtag, #helpmehelpyoucopeandgetby which begs for us, as few as we may be, to act with social solidarity. Yes, we are few, limited, select but that makes us one of a kind for caring. In fact, I consider the few that follow @keeptheworldpolite to be very special individuals who have discernment, who understand that in order to see any change in the world, we ourselves ought to be that change as individuals, use our minds even more and act because we have a heart at the same time that we have understanding and not do things which may be considered as cruel or ignorant as the great majority of people do, sadly. Each one of you understands that you must grow as individuals and help as many as you can in as many ways as you possibly can until they are able to do something for themselves and help others in turn.
Another example of the "uncommon" things I do as someone who cares is to take advantage of the more time allotted to us to rest and relax to thank God for allowing me to live another day and seeing as to how I am alive, that I have survived this COVID-19 pandemic and have avoided many other trials and tribulations, which I have many, don't think I don't but I send a personal message to each of my friends, family members, acquaintances and supporters in order to wish them a good day and to wish that they and their family members are safe and healthy. Admittedly, it is not an easy task to stay in touch with every one we know and it requires time and energy to send a personal message especially when we are all just trying to survive. "Why do it then?," you may ask. In short, because you never know who may going through something where that message is a booster or a jumpstart for them as it spurs them on, it makes their day and shows true friendship. I aim to make myself available to that and every person and make them aware of the fact that even though it may seem that they matter to no one, they matter to at least one person who took the time to remind them of it and with that message let them know they matter and realize that they matter to more than just one person. Sadly, we humans are selfish by nature and especially in times like these so to have at least one person worry about you or remember you is huge and it is to the person who receives the message. If on top of that, you have the opportunity to open up to that person who took an interest in you, I can't even begin to describe the joy you both will feel. In fact, I encourage you to try it this weekend or tomorrow or every day of the week if you want. Write every single person a thoughtful message letting them know you care and are there for them. Please let me know how that went, how you felt and what happened.
Sadly, however, on the flip side of things, I only receive messages like "how are you?" or "I hope you're doing well" only I've bothered to send my weekly mass message wishing them all the same. I'm not complaining, just stating facts. And the fact is that I am grateful in having received those messages at least if they were sent to reply to mine because it shows me that person cares. Because, fact is that 95% of the people I send my message to don't seem the slightest bit curious as to why I sent them that, how I am at present and may read it but do not reply. I get it though because it actually proves what I will tell you a little bit later. We all have our issues, worried and priorities and I get that just because I do it doesn't mean I should expect it to be reciprocated or toot my own horn for having done so and be content with having taken the time to show them that I care and remember them. But, allow me to ask you to imagine for a moment. Imagine you know hundreds of people and you took your time to write them personally and wish them well and each and every single one of those people you know and cherish to a degree took a second of their time to thank you and wish you the same. Can you imagine how refreshing that is? It's not hard to imagine now having to deal with COVID-19 or depression and someone takes their time to send you a message to cheer you up. That one message may, many times, make the difference between that person fighting to stay alive or give up because, what's it worth living anyway if nobody cares whether one live sor dies. I'll leave that there so that you as a reader of this blog can give consideration to how you react to these messages and realise that if you don't react to these messages at all, you're missing out on quite the experience. It's true, it may seem monotonous, perfunctory, routine, tedious and obnoxious. In fact, it's a copied and pasted or forwarded message that was sent out to a lot of other people, more or less important to you which may make it even look less sincere but, if you know me at all, you know I'm as human as I possibly could be and that, as a human, I can also be touched, motivated and encouraged receiving a message from you too from time to time wishing me well and a good, happy and healthy life.
I say this openly because there are a lot of people who confuse being polite with being a a hypocritical goody two shoes who says what others want to hear or would like to hear with a smile on their face to win over a few. Politeness is often confused for expecting perfection fro others or on the flip-side let yourself be trampled on to keep the peace and in order to be correct and save face.Not so. If there is one thing that you can always expect from a polite person is the truth and that was nothing but the truth. That said, there is a little exercise I like to do in order to show my interest in others and that consists of being logical and reasoning on things. I have to logically conclude that my cause, my struggle, my efforts and my good hopes are not for everybody. Don't get me wrong, please. I wish good upon everyone in the world but, in saying that it's not for everyone, I don't mean I limit it to a few but, rather, that not everyone believes in keeping this world more polite. Not everyone is worried about making sure that's the norm and therefore, not everyone is going to put forth effort and time into it. @keeptheworldpolite is not the only social movement in the world who hopes to make it better. There are hundreds of them like @thinkkindness, @randomactsofkindness or @kindness.org. Even though that is true, the vast majority of the population prefers to just follow music stars, actors, sports teams or their favourite stores. And you know what? That is fine by logic. Why? Because logic tells me we all look for an escape from our reality or routine and we all want to connect with that which gives us a small dosage of joy, glee or gratification, however, ephemeral that may be.
Again, this isn't for everyone. At the same time it makes me proud that you are reading this and you should be proud of that too because if you are here reading this or you follow @keeptheworldpolite, CON or Karaosation, it proves you are special and deserve the best for being special. I really mean that. If you are a friend of @keeptheworldpolite, consider yourself supernatural because you have shown discernment, understanding of things, perspective, depth, sensibility, reasoning and a certain sensitivity to life in general. That is why I thank you and give thanks for each and every single one of you.
